Hotel Richards Mitchell has been proudly owned and operated by our family since 2003. For more than two decades, we have welcomed locals, travellers, workers and families with comfortable accommodation, hearty meals, cold drinks and genuine country hospitality.

We support local clubs, events and organisations, and in 2024 were honoured to receive the Queensland Hotels Association’s Outstanding Community Achievement Award. In 2025, Hotel Richards was also named a finalist and runner-up in the Maranoa Business Awards’ Wellpro Services Tourism, Hospitality and Events Award.
